Residents of Ufa are invited to celebrate Maslenitsa next weekend.

The festive farewell to winter will take place in the city on February 21. The main celebrations will be held in Sergey Aksakov Garden.

"Aksakov Maslenitsa. Do Good!" — under this title, folk festivities will unfold in the city park, the city administration reports. Residents and visitors can look forward to pancakes, round dances, jesters, traditional folk games, performances by creative groups, a charity auction, and themed photo zones where families can take memorable pictures.

In addition to Aksakov Garden, festive events will be held across all districts of the city, including remote areas. The full holiday program is presented on the poster below.
