As of today, the republic operates 2,283 bridges and overpasses with a total length of more than 86,000 linear meters. Many of them were built in the last century, which makes regular maintenance and repair essential.
In 2026, it is planned to repair at least 13 bridges with a total length exceeding 1,700 linear meters. Repairs are scheduled for eight bridges, reconstruction for four, and one bridge is scheduled for a major overhaul. The works will cover bridges in the Buraevsky, Dyurtyulinsky, Davlekanovsky, Ishimbaysky, Kugarchinsky, Salavatsky, and other districts of Bashkortostan.
"Road workers will upgrade key crossings that ensure inter-district connectivity. These efforts will improve the reliability of the republic's transport network and the safety of travel for residents and visitors of Bashkortostan," the minister concluded.
