The road had been closed due to a blizzard.
According to the Road Management Department of the Republic of Bashkortostan, as of 9:00 on February 9, traffic was reopened on regional and intermunicipal roads. Previously, due to the blizzard and low visibility, the Ufa–Inzer–Beloretsk highway was closed to both freight and passenger traffic in the Karmaskalinsky, Arkhangelsky, and Beloretsky districts.
Over the past 24 hours, 143 units of special machinery have been deployed on the republic's roads, including 54 combined road vehicles. More than 1,200 tons of sand-salt mixture were used to treat the roads for icy conditions.
