Snowy weather with blizzards and icy roads is expected in Bashkiria

Meteorologists reported on the weather forecast for the beginning of the week.

According to the Bashkir Hydrometeorological Center, on Sunday, February 8, light snow is expected during the day, with moderate snowfall in some areas. Winds will be southerly to south-easterly, moderate. Air temperature will range from –5 to –10°C.

On Monday, February 9, snow will fall at times. In some road sections, snowdrifts, compacted snow, and icy conditions are expected. Winds will be southerly, shifting to northerly, moderate, with gusts in some places during the day. Night temperatures will drop to –9 to –14°C, daytime temperatures to –4 to –9°C, and down to –14°C in the northern areas.

On Tuesday, February 10, overnight snowfall is expected, with light snow during the day in some areas, up to moderate in the southeast. In some districts, blizzards are possible. Roads will have snowdrifts, compacted snow, and icy conditions. Winds will be northerly to north-westerly, moderate, with strong gusts in some areas. Night temperatures will be –14 to –19°C, locally down to –24°C, and daytime temperatures –10 to –15°C.
