In Ufa, 270 shelter dogs were adopted into caring homes over year

The "Looking for a Human" campaign will continue in the city.

Twelve "Looking for a Human" adoption events have already been held in Ufa. The first charity event took place on December 21, 2024, in the Bashkir Foresters' Park. Since then, the campaign has "migrated" through different districts of the city, visiting each of them.

According to the organizers, about 13,000 people attended the events. As a result, 271 dogs and 3 kittens found new homes. People donated 18 tons of pet food to shelters through the "Box of Kindness." More than 270 dogs and cats were vaccinated against rabies, and 237 were microchipped. Veterinarians and dog handlers spoke about responsible pet ownership and provided consultations to 256 people on pet care.
