The Prime Minister of Bashkortostan, Andrey Nazarov, congratulated the students with warm words. He noted that young people studying in the republic are the region's intellectual capital.
"Today, students are at the epicenter of scientific and technological change. The inter-university student campus is no longer just a dormitory, but an entire ecosystem with co-working spaces, laboratories, and recreation areas. The Genome Center operates here, and scarce industrial equipment is being created.
We are strengthening higher education by increasing the share of targeted places, attracting talented young people from other regions, retaining 10% of international students, and launching dual-degree programs. We are also helping students transition "from diploma to business": the Student Startup project provides 1 million rubles to implement ideas; "Leading engineering schools connect students with industrial giants—this is the path to high-paying jobs," emphasized Andrey Nazarov.
