Restrictive measures had been in effect in the village of Iltebanovo since November last year.
By decree of the Head of Bashkortostan, the rabies quarantine for animals has been lifted in the village of Iltebanovo, Uchaly District. The quarantine had been imposed on November 18 after outbreaks of the disease were detected in a private household belonging to a local resident.
As a rule, a number of restrictions are enforced during a quarantine period to prevent the spread of the disease. These include bans on both removing animals from the quarantined area and importing them into it.
