For admission to higher education institutions, applicants must score at least 36 points in the Russian language. The highest threshold is set for social studies at 42 points. For computer science, the minimum score is 40 points; for geography, 37 points; for biology, physics, and chemistry, 36 points; for history and literature, 32 points; for advanced-level mathematics, 27 points; and for foreign languages, 22 points.
