Bashkortostan was among top five regions for budget vacations in January

Due to its many holidays, January is the most popular winter month for vacations. This means, according to economic laws, travel and accommodations become more expensive. However, even at this time, budget-friendly options are available. Although vacations in Bashkortostan were more costly than in the Kuban and Stavropol regions, the republic ranked among the top five budget destinations, according to Tvil.ru.

Orenburg ranked first, with an average nightly rate of 2,785 rubles. Visitors to its neighboring cities stayed for an average of two days. Tuapse ranked second at 2,994 rubles/night (3 days), and Zheleznovodsk third at 3,195 rubles/night (7 days). Bashkortostan ranked fourth at 3,208 rubles/night (3 days). Yevpatoriya ranked fifth at 3,310 rubles/night (4 days). It was previously reported that more than 1.6 million tourists visited Bashkiria from January to September 2025. The republic ranks third in the Volga Federal District in terms of visitor numbers. It was also reported that domestic and inbound tourist flow to Bashkiria is planned to increase to 2.9 million trips by 2030.
