Residents of Bashkortostan were warned of colder weather and strong winds
Wind gusts in the southern parts of the republic may reach 15–20 m/s.
According to the Bashkortostan branch of the Emergencies Ministry, cloudy weather with clear spells is forecast across the region over the next 24 hours. Light snow is expected in some areas at night, while no significant precipitation is forecast during the day. Winds will be easterly at 7–12 m/s, with gusts of 15–20 m/s in the southern areas.
Nighttime temperatures will be −12 to −17°C, dropping to −21 to −26°C in clear conditions, while daytime temperatures will range from −8 to −13°C, and −15 to −20°C in the eastern parts of the republic.
At night and in the morning, visibility on some road sections may be reduced to 2–4 km due to haze and snowfall.
