

The Ministry of Labor of Bashkortostan has issued a reminder of the weekend and holiday schedule.
According to the Russian Federation Labor Code, January 1–8 are non-working holidays. January 1–6 and 8 are New Year's holidays, and January 7 is Christmas.
Furthermore, in accordance with Russian Government regulations, December 31 and January 9 are rescheduled holidays.
Therefore, the New Year's holidays will last 12 days—from December 31, 2025, to January 11, 2026, inclusive.
The first working day after the holidays is January 12 (Monday).
When applying for annual paid leave, the holidays from January 1–8 are not included in the vacation time, the ministry reminded.
