Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree establishing the honorary title of "Honored Employee of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation."
"To further improve the state awards system of the Russian Federation, I decree: 1. To establish the honorary title of 'Honored Employee of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation," the document states.
The decree entered into force on the day it was signed.
The title will be awarded to highly professional National Guard personnel for personal achievements in maintaining public order, protecting cargo, and combating terrorism and extremism, to federal civil servants and National Guard employees, as well as to employees for their contributions to training qualified personnel and performing other tasks assigned to the National Guard troops.
