Blizzard and storm-force winds are approaching Bashkortostan

According to the Bashkortostan branch of the Emergencies Ministry, blizzard conditions, icy surfaces, icy patches on roads, and snowdrifts are forecast in some areas of the region over the next 24 hours.

Tomorrow, cloudy weather is expected. Light snow, locally moderate, is forecast, along with blizzards in some districts, icy conditions, icy roads, snowdrifts, and packed snow. Winds will be southerly to southwesterly at 9–14 m/s, with gusts reaching 17–22 m/s at night and 12–17 m/s during the day. Nighttime temperatures will be −4 to −9°C, dropping to −14°C in the southern areas, while daytime temperatures will be −2 to −7°C. Visibility on highways may be reduced to 500 meters or less during snowfall and blizzards.

In Ufa, light snow is expected at night, with snow during the day. Winds will be southerly to southwesterly at 9–14 m/s, with nighttime gusts up to 17 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will be −5 to −7°C, and daytime temperatures will be −3 to −5°C.
