Temperatures in Bashkortostan to drop to −27°C

Bashkortostan meteorologists have released a weather forecast for the next three days.

According to Bashgidromet, light snow is expected in the region today, with icy conditions and freezing rain in some areas. Winds will be southwesterly to southerly and moderate, becoming gusty in places during the day. Daytime temperatures will range from −3 to −8°C.

On Friday, December 19, precipitation is forecast as snow and wet snow, with icy conditions in some areas and wet snow accumulating on wires and trees. Snowdrifts, packed snow, and icy patches are expected on roads. Winds will shift from southerly to northwesterly and remain moderate. Nighttime temperatures will be −4 to −9°C, and daytime temperatures will range from 0 to −5°C.

On Saturday, December 20, light snow is expected across the republic at night and in some areas during the day. Winds will be northerly and moderate. In the northern part of the republic, nighttime temperatures will be −15 to −20°C, dropping to −22 to −27°C in clear conditions, with daytime temperatures of −14 to −19°C. In the southern part, temperatures will be −8 to −13°C both at night and during the day.
