Residents of Bashkortostan warned of wet snow and strong winds
According to the Bashkortostan branch of the Emergencies Ministry, southwesterly winds shifting to northwesterly at 5–10 m/s are forecast for tomorrow, with nighttime gusts in some areas reaching up to 18 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will be −4 to −9°C, dropping to −14°C in the eastern parts of the republic, while daytime temperatures will range from 0 to −5°C. Visibility on some road sections may be reduced to 1–2 km due to precipitation.
In Ufa, precipitation in the form of snow and wet snow is expected, with icy conditions in some areas and wet snow accumulating on wires and trees. Snowdrifts, packed snow, and icy patches are possible on roads. Winds will be southwesterly, shifting to northwesterly at 5–10 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will be −4 to −6°C, and daytime temperatures will range from 0 to −2°C.
