Popular name of public square in Ufa may become official
In Ufa, a public square with a monument to Mustai Karim was opened in 2013, but it still officially remains unnamed. To include the name "Mustai Karim Square" in official documents, the prescribed legal procedures must be followed, the Main Architecture Department reported.
According to established regulations, the names of urban environment elements are assigned by the municipality's residents. Therefore, the Ufa city administration has launched a vote to legally confirm what is already a fact for every Ufa resident. Voting to assign the name "Mustai Karim Square" to the area at the intersection of Kirov Street and Mustai Karim Street will be open until December 25.
