Freezing rain to hit Bashkortostan
The Bashkortostan branch of the Emergencies Ministry has warned residents about icy conditions and freezing rain.
According to meteorologists, cloudy weather with clear spells is expected in the republic over the next 24 hours. Light snow, icy conditions, and freezing rain are forecast. Winds will be southwesterly to southerly at 5–10 m/s, with daytime gusts reaching up to 14 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will be −10 to −15°C, dropping to −16 to −21°C in clear conditions, while daytime temperatures will be −3 to −8°C. Icy patches are expected on some road sections, and haze at night and in the morning may reduce visibility to 1–2 km.
