Bashkortostan to experience cold start to week

According to the Bashkir Hydrometeorological Center, adverse weather conditions are forecast for the start of the work week in Bashkortostan. Snowstorms and wind gusts of 15-20 m/s are expected in some areas.

Monday, December 15, will be cloudy—snow, with occasional blizzards, and snowdrifts on some roads. Westerly winds will be 8-13 m/s, with gusts of 15-20 m/s in some areas.

Nighttime temperatures will range from -14°C to -19°C, and daytime temperatures will range from -10°C to -15°C.

Visibility will be reduced by 1-2 km due to snow on some road sections.

Tuesday, December 16, will see light snow, with moderate snowfall in some areas. Snowdrifts and packed snow will be present on some sections of roads. Moderate northwesterly winds will be present. Nighttime temperatures: -16°C to -21°C; daytime temperatures: -11°C to -16°C.
