Head of Bashkortostan named date for completion of reconstruction of Salavat monument
He announced this at the plenary session of a conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the World Kurultai of Bashkirs.
Today, December 11, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, said at the plenary session of the conference marking the 30th anniversary of the World Kurultai of Bashkirs, that the reconstruction of the Salavat Yulaev monument in Ufa will be completed.
"We have been moving toward this for a long time, but life itself and objective circumstances were telling us: save the monument, otherwise we will lose it. And it was not an easy decision. There is a large amount of reconstruction work, and we also want to renovate the area around the monument. We have set a final deadline for ourselves — Republic Day, October 11, 2027," said the Head of Bashkortostan.
