On December 8, Mercury will be at its most significant angular distance to the west of the Sun (21 degrees). This period is its best visibility, according to the Ufa Planetarium.
Mercury rises two hours before the Sun at 7:20 a.m. and is visible in the morning against the backdrop of dawn as a bright star very low above the horizon in the southeast—this is where the Sun rises in December. Mercury will remain clearly visible until mid-December.
And in January, it will participate in a planetary parade along with Mars and Venus.
