Ufa Mayor comments on road construction and repairs
Ratmir Mavliev noted that major infrastructure projects will continue to be implemented.
When asked whether repairing and restoring transport interchanges in Ufa would be expensive, Ratmir Mavliev explained that building transport infrastructure is never cheap.
"These are large-scale projects. They depend on many factors. Work is currently underway on the southern bypass of Ufa and on the Internatsionalnaya Highway. These and other major infrastructure projects are progressing. We are waiting for federal programs to ensure that the road sector is adequately funded," said Ratmir Mavliev.
The road to Ufa's airport will be repaired, Mayor Ratmir Mavliev added. He noted that this route is very congested and requires close attention. Konstantin Pappe, Head of the City Administration's Department for Construction, Repair of Roads, and Artificial Structures, is handling the issue.
