Rescuers conducted patrols on Bashkortostan's water bodies

Rescuers conducted preventative patrols on Ibragimovsky Pond in the Baimaksky District, the Beloretsk City Pond, the Belaya River, the Zemsnaryad Reservoir in the Tuymazinsky District, the Shottovsky Pond in the Kuyurgazinsky District, the Nugush Reservoir in the Meleuzovsky District, and the Yuryuzan River.

As noted by the press service of the State Emergency Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan, this is a hazardous period—ice is just forming and poses a serious threat.

As part of the preventive measures, special attention is being paid to two groups—fishermen and children. Rescuers patrolling the water bodies not only provide general safety instructions but also conduct special preventive talks with fishermen and thoroughly explain the risks of venturing onto the autumn ice.
