"Labor Reserves" festival has kicked off in Ufa
Corporate games are taking place this weekend at the Dynamo Sports Complex and the Bashkir State Medical University Sports Complex.
More than 800 people, employees of enterprises across the republic, are participating in the event – 12 teams in total.
Participants are competing in 17 sports, including basketball, volleyball, darts, swimming, shooting, badminton, and others.
As State Duma deputy and multiple Paralympic champion Rima Batalova noted in her welcoming speech, the festival brought together people who strive for leadership in life, work, and sports.
"Today, Bashkortostan is a leader in the number of sporting events and sports facilities. This is the targeted work of the republic's leadership and the entire government, aimed precisely at constant creation. Sport is, above all, about creation," emphasized Oleg Golov, a guest of the event and Federation Council Senator from the republic.
