

An alonewolf was captured on camera in the Shulgan-Tash Nature Reserve. Although these predators are considered social and live primarily in packs of 5 to 15 individuals, lone wolves that leave their packs for various reasons are rare. For example, sick or elderly individuals may be driven out. It's very rare to see loners who voluntarily leave their packs, the national park's directorate explained.
