This week alone, a sugar plant in Bashkiria exported nearly 1,800 tons of granulated beet pulp to South Korea. Samples of this by-product of sugar-beet processing underwent entomological, herbological, and mycological examinations at a laboratory under the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision.
According to the test results, no quarantine pests were detected in the animal-feed samples. The beet pulp has been cleared and shipped to South Korea.
