Researchers in the Nizhny Novgorod region have developed an anti-tumor drug complex that combines the advantages of photodynamic therapy and chemotherapy.
The combined molecule will make it possible to create new medications to treat triple-negative breast cancer.
According to chemists from Lobachevsky State University (UNN), the molecule currently breaks down too slowly to serve as the basis for a drug. Therefore, the researchers plan to improve the particle's performance and accelerate the release of anti-tumor agents.
