The government of Bashkortostan discussed the expansion of artificial intelligence in state and municipal governance, primarily to expedite the resolution of specific issues.
As Prime Minister Andrey Nazarov noted, artificial intelligence is now becoming a readily understood tool that delivers tangible benefits in the economy, social sphere, and public administration. Bashkortostan has experience using AI in video surveillance, healthcare, and security. Another project has been piloted: a voice assistant that can be integrated into the official websites of government agencies, said Gennady Razumikin, Minister of Digital Development of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
Rustam Muratov, Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of the Republic of Bashkortostan, announced that the republic plans to implement a portfolio of services that will include "AI Office," "Monitoring of Economic Activity Based on Earth Remote Sensing Data," "Intelligent Document Processing," and "Photo and Video Analytics." These developments will simplify document management, improve the accuracy of natural and agricultural resource assessments, and enable the prediction of natural disasters and a more rapid response to emergencies.
Following the meeting, it was instructed to develop a roadmap with specific proposals for implementing AI in the republic's government and replicating this practice across priority economic sectors.
