Bashkortostan confirms its status as spa tourism leader.
In the first three quarters of 2025, Bashkortostan's spas earned nearly 6.8 billion rubles.
According to the Sanatorii-Rossii.rf portal, this result not only exceeds last year's figures by 16.7% but also accounts for a quarter of the total revenue of the entire spa industry in the Volga Federal District.
The republic leads the Volga Federal District in popularity among vacationers, ahead of Tatarstan, Perm Krai, and Samara Oblast. In the first nine months of this year, the region's spas received 167,000 people.
Overall, Bashkortostan ranks among the top five regions in the country by number of vacationers, along with Krasnodar and Stavropol Krais, Crimea, and the Moscow Oblast.
