Facade work at the Ar-Rahim mosque, which began this year, is planned to be finished in 2026.
This was stated by the head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, during the live Q&A, in response to a question from Timur Valitov about the progress of the mosque's construction and its expected completion date.
"There is a plan according to which heating is expected to be launched next year, and interior work will begin. There are also issues regarding the land; for example, part of the stylobate is located on a federally owned plot. My term in office ends in 2029. Of course, I want to see the mosque completed. But this is also a matter of finances. If there is a choice between allocating 48 million rubles of off-budget funds monthly to drones for our soldiers or to construction, I think the answer is obvious. Of course, the assistance will go to our soldiers to save their lives,” said the head of Bashkiria.
