Rescuers in Ufa removed stubborn cat from tree

In the yard of a private house in Ufa, rescuers from the city's civil protection department faced a stubborn cat. The animal had spent two days perched in a tree and refused to come down. According to the department's press service, rescuers had to use a ladder and some gentle persuasion — with a bit of physical assistance.

The cat resisted but ultimately surrendered: it was safely removed from the six-meter tree and handed over to its owner.
