Huge crack has formed on Gaskarova Street in Ufa

Another ground collapse has occurred in Ufa. This time, a large crack appeared in the Kolguevsky neighborhood, in the courtyard of building 9 on Gaskarova Street.

According to the head of Ufa's Kirovsky district, Ilvir Nurdavlyatov, the cause of the collapse was a leak in the "Ufavodokanal" utility networks.

"At night, a crew from the utility company eliminated the cause of the leak. The Kirovsky district's municipal services backfilled the hazardous area. The site has been fenced off with barriers and warning tape. At 9:00 a.m., 'Ufavodokanal' will begin restoring the area," the district head noted.
