All work on Orsk dam will be completed before start of winter in Orenburg

Construction of protective measures at the Orsk dam is scheduled to be completed by December 2025.
As emphasized by the governor of the Orenburg region, Yevgeny Solntsev, these measures are necessary to prevent a repeat of the situation in which the area experienced the most significant flood in the past 60 years, and a dam breach caused flooding in city neighborhoods. The damage from that incident amounted to tens of billions of rubles.
