About 500 swans have arrived at Lake Kandrykul in Bashkiria

Employees of the Kandrykul Nature Park reported a unique natural phenomenon: a large flock of swans had gathered on the shore of the lake as they prepared for their upcoming migration.

According to Irina Sabirova, an environmental education specialist, the number of birds has reached about 500, with a remarkable number of young swans among them. The adults are training their chicks for the long journey ahead.
"This year, there are surprisingly many young swan chicks. For comparison, last season there were very few," Sabirova noted.
