Mass driver checks begin on two streets in Ufa
The traffic police are identifying traffic violators and drivers under the influence.
This morning in Ufa, large-scale driver inspections began. According to Bashkortostan's Chief Traffic Inspector, Vladimir Sevastyanov, police are conducting the operation on General Ryl'chenko and Marshal Zhukov streets.
Sevastyanov noted that the purpose of the event is to prevent traffic accidents and eliminate serious traffic rule violations. According to him, traffic police patrols are focused on stopping offenses committed by drivers operating vehicles without a license, as well as by those previously deprived of the right to drive.
