Social Fund reported how many centenarians in Bashkortostan.
There are 17,000 residents of the republic between the ages of 90 and 100.
There are 262 people over 100 years old in Bashkortostan, and the oldest is 114, according to the Social Fund for the republic. Overall, more than 1.127 million residents of the region are pensioners.
107,000 of these are centenarians: 17,000 between the ages of 90 and 100, and over 90,000 between the ages of 80 and 90.
The Social Fund noted that upon reaching age 80, the insurance pension payment doubles to 17,815 rubles.
