Over 8,000 "silver" category tourists took advantage of the opportunities offered by the "Bashkir Longevity Tourism" project in the first nine months of this year.
Bashkortostan's Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism, Svetlana Vereshchagina, believes the project plays a crucial role in the social sphere of Bashkortostan, helping to improve physical fitness, maintain an active lifestyle, and enhance the emotional well-being of retirees.
Seventeen tour operators are involved in the project, offering participants over 60 specialized tours designed specifically for senior tourists. These itineraries include visits to key attractions in Bashkortostan, such as sanatoriums, cultural centers, holy sites, health resorts, and the region's unique natural sites. In addition to the traditional exploration of the region's natural beauty and history, project participants had the unique opportunity to enjoy vibrant cultural events in Bashkortostan, attending festivals and participating in traditional folk festivals.
