Head of Bashkortostan meets with Igor Komarov, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to Volga Federal District.
On October 1, a working meeting was held between Igor Komarov, the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District, and Radiy Khabirov, Head of Bashkortostan, at the Republic House. The new Chief Federal Inspector for the region, Alexander Okatyev, also attended the event.
Igor Komarov outlined the key tasks for the new federal inspector, whom he introduced earlier at the Government House.
"Bashkortostan is one of the leading regions in the district and the country. The Chief Federal Inspector is tasked with implementing national projects, supporting the defense industry, and assisting the families of SVO participants," said the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy.
Radiy Khabirov emphasized that the region continues to develop sustainably despite the pressure of sanctions.
"We expect industrial production to increase. Agricultural production is growing, and investment is being attracted. Our top priorities today are fulfilling social obligations and building new healthcare and educational facilities," the head of the republic noted. Alexander Okatyev outlined the first steps he plans to take in his new position.
"First, it's important to understand the situation in the republic thoroughly. I will work with federal agencies, the regional government, and municipalities to make the most effective decisions," said the chief federal inspector.
