Maternity capital will increase to 974,100 rubles in 2026.

The Russian Ministry of Labor announced the indexation of social benefits in 2026. According to the ministry's statements, this will increase maternity capital to 974,100 rubles for a second child if the family does not have maternity capital for the first child. It will also increase to 737,200 rubles for the first child.

At the same time, the one-time childbirth benefit will increase to 28,773 rubles.

Also, starting February 1st, monthly cash payments to citizens with disabilities, veterans, Heroes of the Soviet Union, Heroes of Russia, Heroes of Socialist Labor, Heroes of Labor of Russia, mothers-heroines, benefits for radiation victims, and other support measures will be indexed to the actual inflation rate.
