On International Tourism Day, Bashkortostan Prime Minister Andrey Nazarov announced that the republic will receive 735 million rubles in federal funds for tourism development over the 2025-2027 period. The region won a competitive selection for a single subsidy. This represents a significant boost for the further development of the tourism industry, the Prime Minister commented.
Over 60 million rubles will be invested in infrastructure development along the Golden Ring of Bashkortostan route as part of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality" and the regional project "Creation of Accommodation, Infrastructure, and New Attractions" (Golden Ring of Bashkortostan).
The Golden Ring of Bashkortostan route, spanning 992 km, is designed to take three days and encompasses key historical and natural sites. The Golden Ring of Bashkortostan has been included among Russia's ten pilot autotourism routes and is available on Yandex.Maps, thanks to a joint project with the Puteshestvouem.RF portal. This significantly simplifies trip planning in Bashkortostan and contributes to increased tourist traffic, noted Andrey Nazarov.
