One billion rubles will be allocated for Ufa airport airfield reconstruction

Dmitry Yadrov, Head of the Federal Air Transport Agency, stated that the modernization of Ufa Airport's airfield infrastructure was discussed at a meeting with the Head of Bashkortostan today. This work will be carried out as part of the "Efficient Transport System" national project.

"The plans include the reconstruction of the airfield apron, parking area, and wastewater treatment facilities by 2030. One billion rubles have been allocated from the federal budget for this. We plan to implement these measures next year, as outlined in the concession agreement with the region and the airport. The draft concession agreement and draft concession regulations are currently under discussion. I am confident that by the end of this year, we will have resolved all disagreements, determined the special circumstances of the concession agreement, and begun concluding the relevant concession. This will allow the airport to increase passenger traffic to 7.2 million by 2030 and generally enhance the region's attractiveness," noted the head of Rosaviatsia.
