Russians' vacation schedule in 2026 has been announced.

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on holidays and days off next year.

According to the document, working residents of the country will have 118 days off, including regular weekends and public holidays. Of these, 247 days are declared working days.

The following public holidays and additional days off are planned for 2026:

  • New Year's holidays (from December 31, 2025, to January 11, 2026): 12 days.
  • Defender of the Fatherland Day (February 21–23): 3 days.
  • International Women's Day (March 7–9): 3 days.
  • Spring and Labor Day (May 1–3): 3 days.
  • Victory Day (May 9–11): 3 days.
  • Russia Day (June 12–14): 3 days.
  • National Unity Day (November 4): 1 day.
  • New Year's Day (December 31): 1 day.
