The Russian government plans to allocate approximately 60 trillion rubles over the next three years to fulfill its social obligations. This was announced at a government meeting where the Cabinet of Ministers discussed the draft budget for the Pension and Social Insurance Fund.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin reiterated that fulfilling social obligations is a matter of primary importance, as emphasized by the President. The government is implementing this work, including through the Social Fund, Mishustin noted.
Of the planned 60 trillion rubles, more than half will be allocated toward pension provision, including pension indexation. Additionally, payments are made to families with children, and assistance is provided to SMO participants and their families. Funding has also been allocated for a pilot project for the comprehensive rehabilitation and habilitation of children with disabilities.
