Ufa announces heating season start
The heating season in Ufa begins on September 25. Ratmir Mavliev, the mayor of the Bashkir capital, signed the corresponding decree.
Heat supply and heat grid managers have been instructed to begin supplying heat to customers in accordance with requests. Heating will be turned on in homes after five days with average daily temperatures below 8 degrees Celsius.
"The start of heat supply does not mean that homes will be immediately warm, as it may take up to three days from the start date until the heating units warm up. Residents of upper floors must allow representatives of specialized services to bleed air from the building's heating system," the mayor's office stated.
The Ufa Unified Dispatch Service's Situation Center accepts calls, including those related to heating, at 8 (347) 277-09-11, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
