Bashkortostan will celebrate National Unity Day.
Bashkortostan's Head, Radiy Khabirov, signed a decree on the preparation and holding of events dedicated to National Unity Day.
Bashkortostan will celebrate National Unity Day. The decree on the preparation and holding of events dedicated to this date was signed by the Head of the Republic on September 22. The organizing committee comprised members of the government, including heads of ministries and departments of the Republic.
According to the document, municipal districts and urban administrations are recommended to prepare festive decorations for buildings, streets, squares, and residential areas, using the national symbols of Russia and Bashkortostan.
Cities and administrative centers of municipal districts will host cultural and sporting events, as well as folklore festivals featuring the participation of representatives from national cultural associations and professional and amateur groups. It is also recommended to organize fairs and mobile holiday trade in populated areas. The government of the republic has been instructed to identify sources of funding for expenses related to the implementation of this decree. Oversight of the decree's implementation has been assigned to the administration of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
