Bashkortostan residents will have extra day off.
Residents of Bashkortostan will be able to take an extra day off in honor of Republic Day, celebrated annually on October 11, according to the press service of the Ministry of Family, Labor, and Social Protection of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
This year, the holiday coincides with a weekly day off and falls on a Saturday. Therefore, the holiday will be observed on Monday, October 13.
The holiday will run from October 11 to 13, and the workday before the holiday, October 10, will be shortened by an hour.
"If you're planning a vacation, it will also be one day longer, since the holiday on October 11 is not included in the calendar vacation days," the Bashkortostan Ministry of Labor explained.
