In Ufa, consequences ofsoil collapse at storm drain construction site are being eliminated
During the construction of a pumping station for the storm drainage system at 20 Kusimova Street, groundwater seepage and soil collapse occurred.
Head of the Dyomsky district administration, Ivan Ivanov, visited the site and held an on-site meeting.
He noted that special sensors have been installed to monitor the condition of the nearby building — there is no threat to the structure. At present, water is being pumped out, and a concrete foundation is being poured to prevent further soil collapse. Later, the contractor will begin installing the base slab of the reservoir, according to the district head's Telegram channel.
