Because of its smooth, shiny skin, which takes on copper shades in the sun, the snake is called a copperhead.
It was spotted in the village of Irgizly and filmed, the Bashkiria National Park reported. The snake, about one meter long, mainly lives in rodent burrows and fiercely defends its territory. It feeds on lizards, non-venomous snakes, and small mammals.
In the wild, it lives up to 15 years. If someone tries to catch it, the copperhead snake will attack and bite. However, its bite is harmless to humans.
