Salavat monument will return to its place after restoration
The head of the Department for State Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Salavat Kulbakhtin, assured that the public's concerns are unfounded.
According to him, all restoration work on the Salavat Yulaev monument is being carried out strictly in accordance with federal law on the preservation of cultural heritage sites. No changes can be made to this process.
"Answering the question of whether the Salavat Yulaev monument will return to its place, I say unequivocally 'yes'! For failure to comply with the requirements of federal legislation in the course of restoration work, responsible persons will or may be held accountable, up to criminal liability," emphasized Kulbakhtin.
