In Ufa, transport stop was renamed at request of factory employees
On the 100th anniversary of UMPO, a public transport stop in the Inors neighborhood changed its name. The outdated "Sholokhov Institute" was replaced with the new "100th Anniversary of PJSC UEC-UMPO." This was reported on the community webpage "Employees of PJSC UEC-UMPO."
It is noted that the initiative to rename came from the factory staff and received the support of the Ufa administration. The new name of the stop immortalized a significant date. The connection of UMPO with the history and development of the Inors neighborhood is inseparable: it was and remains home to thousands of factory workers.
