Pedestrians are advised to follow traffic rules in Bashkiria

As part of the preventive campaign, the State Traffic Inspectorate officers will monitor compliance with traffic rules by drivers and pedestrians. In particular, pedestrians will be reminded to use reflective elements at night.

It is reported that during the route inspection, checks will be conducted to verify the presence of necessary traffic organization equipment, road markings, outdoor lighting, and sidewalks in the required locations on the roads and street network.

"Special attention will be paid to areas located near educational institutions and on children's routes," said Vladimir Sevastyanov, Chief State Traffic Inspector of Bashkiria.

The State Traffic Inspectorate of the republic calls on drivers to be extremely careful while driving and to reduce speed in advance when approaching pedestrian crossings, as well as when driving in adjacent areas.

Pedestrians should cross the roadway strictly in designated places. When walking along a pedestrian crossing with a child, hold his hand tightly and choose a safe route of movement, using reflective elements.
